WHAT IS 'PUS'?

                     When there is an injury or a cut, the white blood cells (WBC) rush to protect the injured area. Pus is a vicious liquid consisting of the dead WBC and the damaged tissue cells. The yellowish colour is due to a fluid called liquor puris.
