HOW DO HORSES SLEEP STANDING UP?

Horses are fleet-footed animals with strong legs. They can run long hours, without stopping. They are not easily tired and do not squat like the goat, the cow, the donkey or the camel. Morover a horse can support its body on three legs. At night it does not lie down on its side. Good stables provide straw beds for horses to sleep at night.
